FlixBus expands further to India’s heartland: New routes in Madhya Pradesh

Indore, 29 November 2024: FlixBus, a global leader in green and smart mobility, announced the launch of its new route in Madhya Pradesh connecting Delhi to Indore via Ujjain, further expanding its footprint in the state. This new service, set to commence operations on 28th November 2024, will offer travellers in Madhya Pradesh a reliable, affordable, and sustainable travel option. Ticket sales are now open, providing early access to convenient and eco-friendly travel. The announcement was made during the visit of Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav to Munich, Germany, where Flixbus is headquartered. Dr Mohan Yadav met with FlixBus’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Christoph Debus and Chief Operating Officer Max Zeumer. He was accompanied by senior officials from various departments of the Government of Madhya Pradesh who travelled with him as part of his delegation.
The discussion focused on the potential role FlixBus can play in supporting the state government’s efforts to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading tourism destination.

FlixBus India has been successfully operating the Delhi-Gwalior route in Madhya Pradesh since 29th August 2024, with two daily departures. The introduction of the new route connecting Delhi with Ujjain and Indore further underscores FlixBus's commitment to enhancing connectivity through collective transport across India.
